The growing presence and use of technology present unprecedented opportunities to support and augment human capabilities and address complex problems. My research takes a human-centered approach to the design and evaluation of systems that enhance and extend human capabilities, empower individuals, support understanding, and foster problem-solving, while remaining attentive to social, cultural, and ethical contexts.
